Email enquiries

When you contact us by email, we process your name, email address and the information you choose to provide in the message. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and following up your enquiry (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

The enquiry is processed in Kiva's email system. The website has no contact form and does not collect or store the content of your email.

The enquiry is retained for as long as necessary to respond and follow up the dialogue. It is deleted or anonymised when that purpose has been fulfilled and there is no longer a documented business or legal need to retain it.

Technical security and analytics

The website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing and has no tracking or analytics tools. Cloudflare delivers the website and processes necessary technical request and security data, including IP address, browser and network information, to deliver and protect the service.

Kiva's email provider and Cloudflare process personal data on our behalf. Any transfers outside the EEA must have a valid transfer mechanism under applicable data protection law.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may also object. These rights may be limited by statutory exceptions. Contact us at post@kiva.no. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
